It is the point of no return approaching a black hole in space; a point whereby even light cannot escape the huge gravitational force contained within it.
Well, there is a ‘Climate Event Horizon’ too and we are getting dangerously closer to it each year as CO2 concentration in the air increases.

As human beings we currently use far too much fossil fuel for our planet’s good. We are running out of time. We need something dramatic to put the brake on and capture carbon quickly.
The only cheap, presently available, easily doable way is a plant; one capable of exponential growth to mop up that excess CO2 quickly. The answer is duckweed. Learn about it here on this site.

Science Facts – the CO2 problem (the by-product of fossil fuel use).
April 2026 – Atmospheric CO2 concentration measured at Maura Loa Observatory is over 430ppm.
CO 2 concentration was 431.14 on 3/4/2026, that’s an increase from 427.26 in April 2025.
Look up NOAA Global Monitoring Laboratory.
From April 5th 2026 daily average at Maura Loa was 433.24ppm.
Annual trend with weekly average for the week beginning 29th March 2026 was 431.73ppm, up from 427.26 a year earlier.
Co2 levels were about 280ppm before the industrial revolution, making current levels about 50% higher.
Current levels are higher than they have ever been since we as humans evolved as a species on the planet.
